Liam has an extraordinary 20+ years of hairdressing under his belt which is hard to believe for a 29-year-old. Having first started working with his Mentor, hair and beauty editor for HarpersBAZAAR India – Rod Anker from Rod Anker Salons, Liam gained an interest in photography/make up/styling/shirtless men.
Like most Aquarian men Liam is chaotically eccentric, and it’s no surprise that he has travelled extensively with his hairdressing. Landing rolls with Prestigious salons, salons including Jean Marc Joubert salon in Paris. This is where he completed his training after being awarded a diploma of film and TV production (hair and make up) from the White House Institute of design Paris. Further study provided other accolades such as a chemicals diploma from Wella (Italy), L’Oréal advanced colour diploma (Paris Institute), colourmaster certification from Goldwell (Germany).
Despite all the accolades Liam has remained humble even allowing his clients to occasionally have input into their own hair. It was likely due to this humble nature that he also landed the role of chief make up artist for the AFI awards three years running, And having his work feature in HarpersBAZAAR Australia.
He followed that up working alongside Kevin Murphy as a style master for the spring fashion week for four years running, furthering his interest in fashion and the aforementioned shirtless men.
After being a popular name in the Bayside area for many years this father of twins has settled into his forever home at Miller & Co, and brings with him his worldly experience and his twisted sense of humour. As Liam would say “come see me for your hair or a laugh and I promise one way or another, you’ll leave crying.”
